We recommend newly qualified accountants to consider additional training to achieve membership of other professional bodies, such as the Chartered Institute of Taxation or the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Early opportunities exist for promotion to manager and, in the longer term, to partnership.

It may be possible to work overseas, either in our Paris office or as part of a work exchange through our international associates.

The training and practical experience we offer provides an excellent grounding, particularly for students who are interested in a career within the profession.

However, we recognise that most students embarking on a training contract will not have any set ideas about their futures and will prefer to keep their options open. The training and experience we provide is equally valuable as a background to a career in commerce or industry.
