Salaries and conditions

Staff are paid at current market rates and student salaries will be discussed at interview. Student salaries are frequently adjusted to recognise progress; merit awards are available to those who perform well.

The firm works a five day week, from 9am to 5pm with one hour for lunch. Students are entitled to 20 days holiday in addition to statutory holidays, paid study leave and the firm's holidays.

Students are required to work overtime, should the need arise, paid at the relevant hourly rate. However excessive overtime is discouraged because of the need to prepare for examinations.

"What most attracted me to the firm, apart from the friendliness of everyone, was the variety of work that was on offer"
