‘The Waller Walk’ – Yorkshire Three Peaks
On 9 September, an eighteen strong team from the London office ventured north, to the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks. They covered the 24.5 mile course, ascending and descending over 5,100ft, in 9 hours and 45 minutes (the ‘leisurely group’, being true to their name, completed the course in just under 12 hours). A great achievement for all to have completed the course.
The event was held in aid of The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, with over £5,500 being raised from generous friends, family and colleagues. The charity raises awareness of depression and provides training to schools, primary care staff and employers, encouraging those who may be in need to seek help.
Altogether, a great weekend for a great cause, with all walkers eager for the next challenge.
