I joined Dixon Wilson in August 2021 after studying Geography at the University of Cambridge. When applying for graduate roles I considered a variety of areas, deciding accountancy would suit my skillset. Dixon Wilson offers the opportunity to work in all areas of accountancy, audit and tax whilst studying the ACA qualification.

Working in a mid-size firm allows you to get to know everyone and starting with a large intake you all become good friends. The structure of the firm means you work with a variety of managers and trainees on many different clients, learning from many angles and experiences.

Completing the ACA whilst working can be difficult, however the firm offers plenty of support and everyone is very understanding of the challenges. The knowledge gained through exams has enhanced my work and regular training sessions in more specific areas has quickly allowed me to progress and work on more complex clients.

The firm offers a wide range of sports, social and charity events, giving staff from all levels the opportunity to plan and organise these through the social committee.
