James Howes Partner Dixon Wilson

After qualifying with Dixon Wilson I moved permanently to France in 1983.  I am both an English Chartered Accountant and the French equivalent, an Expert Comptable.

Dixon Wilson is unique among medium sized firms in possessing its own French office which is a real branch of the firm, rather than merely a French firm rebranded.  We are able to advise from a genuinely cross-Channel perspective.

Specifically I advise individuals on French personal tax issues with particular reference to France's interface with overseas jurisdictions.  I am a founding member of STEP France and a director of Dixon Wilson's trust companies in Jersey and the British Virgin Islands.  As a non-UK resident I am able to provide the services of an offshore trustee and company director and I hold a number of significant appointments of this kind.
