The partners of Dixon Wilson are delighted to announce two promotions to director with effect from 1 April 2023: Peter Elson and Francesca Bowen.

Peter is a Chartered Accountant and Tax advisor working across all areas of accountancy and tax. Peter acts for a broad range of clients with a particular focus on the business interests of high net worth individuals and owner managed businesses, dealing with both compliance and advisory matters. He also specialises and is the firm’s key contact for our Art Advisory Group. Peter has an in-depth knowledge of advising clients in the art world including artists, galleries, collectors, art brokers, dealers and other intermediaries, on all aspects of the tax implications of the ownership and use of art and chattels of significant value.

After studying Finance, Accounting and Management at University, Francesca joined Dixon Wilson and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Francesca manages a diverse portfolio of clients, assisting in all areas of accounting and tax. Her clients include landed estates, family trusts, high net worth individuals and owner-managed businesses. Francesca is experienced in providing advice and assistance with property transactions, accounting and tax compliance for property investment and development companies. This includes urban commercial and rural residential portfolios. She also provides VAT and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) services.
