Boris Johnson has today announced that the expected fall in the corporation tax rate, from 19% to 17% from 1 April 2020, will be postponed if the Conservatives win the election.
In deferred tax calculations, the 17% tax rate should continue to be used until such a time that this change in policy has been substantially enacted into law.
